What it is and what it is used for

Selenium is an essential trace mineral and a component of the body's own antioxidant enzymes. It has a particular role in the thyroid, which holds the highest concentration of selenium of any organ, and it works together with vitamin E.

Taken to support normal thyroid function, normal immune function and protection of cells from oxidative stress.

How to use

One capsule daily with food, or as directed.

Be aware of

Do not exceed the dose. Selenium has a narrow safe range — 200 mcg daily is a standard supplemental dose, but sustained higher intake is genuinely toxic. Do not take it alongside another multivitamin containing selenium without checking the total with us first.
