Milk thistle (silymarin) is a traditional herbal extract with antioxidant properties, used to support normal liver function. Often chosen by people with regular exposure to alcohol, environmental toxins or chronic stress.

How to use

One capsule daily with food, or as directed by your prescriber.

Be aware of

Milk thistle can affect how the liver processes certain medicines, including some for diabetes, cholesterol and blood thinning — tell your doctor or pharmacist what else you take. Avoid if you are allergic to plants in the daisy family. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Persistent liver symptoms should be assessed by a doctor.
