What it is and what it is used for

Higher-strength L-tyrosine, an amino acid the body uses to make the neurotransmitters dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline, the skin pigment melanin, and the thyroid hormones.

How to use

One capsule daily, or as directed by your prescriber.

Be aware of

Do not use if you have an overactive thyroid or Graves' disease, or if you take a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). Tyrosine can interfere with levothyroxine absorption — separate the doses and tell your doctor. Not suitable in phenylketonuria without specialist advice, or in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
