What it is and what it is used for

Sustained-release L-theanine with taurine. L-theanine, an amino acid from green tea, is associated with calm alertness without sedation; taurine supports normal nervous system function. The sustained-release form spreads the effect through the day.

How to use

One capsule daily, or as directed by your prescriber. Swallow whole — do not open or crush. If this is intended for a child, have the dose confirmed by your prescriber first.

Be aware of

L-theanine may lower blood pressure and can add to the effect of sedative medicines. Speak to your doctor before use if you have kidney disease or take lithium. This is a supplement and is not a treatment for anxiety or any diagnosed attention or learning condition — a child with difficulties in these areas should be properly assessed.
