What it is and what it is used for

L-citrulline is an amino acid the body converts to arginine, which in turn raises nitric oxide levels. Higher nitric oxide supports blood vessel relaxation and blood flow, which is why citrulline is used to support oxygen delivery to muscle and exercise performance.

How to use

One capsule daily, or as directed by your prescriber.

Be aware of

May lower blood pressure — take care if you use blood-pressure medicine, nitrates or medicines for erectile dysfunction. Speak to your doctor before use if you have kidney or liver disease. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
