What it is and what it is used for

GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) is the brain's principal inhibitory neurotransmitter — the one that dampens neuronal excitability and allows the nervous system to settle.

Taken to support mental calm and a balanced nervous system. 100 mg is the lowest strength in the range and a sensible place to start.

How to use

One capsule daily, usually in the evening, or as directed.

Be aware of

May cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you, and take care if you are already on anything sedating.
