Co-Enzyme Q10 200 mg Capsules (30 capsules)

What it is and what it is used for

Coenzyme Q10 at 200 mg — an antioxidant concentrated in the mitochondria, where it takes part in cellular energy production. It also helps protect LDL cholesterol from oxidation, and is commonly depleted in people taking statins and with increasing age.

How to use

One capsule daily with a meal containing fat, which improves absorption, or as directed by your prescriber.

Be aware of

CoQ10 may reduce the effect of warfarin — tell your doctor if you take it. It may also lower blood pressure and blood glucose. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding without advice. This is a supplement and is not a treatment for high blood pressure, angina or heart disease — never stop prescribed heart medicine.
