What it is and what it is used for

A plant-derived stimulant laxative, for short-term relief of occasional constipation.

How to use

One capsule at night as needed, or as directed by your prescriber. Take with plenty of water.

Be aware of

Short-term use only — do not take for longer than one week without medical advice. Prolonged use can cause the bowel to become dependent and can deplete potassium. Do not use in pregnancy or breastfeeding, in children, or if you have inflammatory bowel disease, appendicitis, a bowel obstruction, undiagnosed abdominal pain or unexplained bleeding. May interact with diuretics, digoxin and corticosteroids. See a doctor if constipation persists, or if there is blood in the stool or unexplained weight loss.
