Azelaic Acid 8% Face Wash

A gentle foaming face wash containing 8% azelaic acid with 2% salicylic acid. Azelaic acid is one of the few actives that addresses both breakouts and redness at the same time, which makes it useful where acne and rosacea overlap, and it also helps with the dark marks left behind by old spots. The salicylic acid clears the pores alongside it.

How to use

Massage a small amount into damp skin morning and evening, avoiding the eyes, then rinse. Follow with a moisturiser and, in the daytime, sunscreen.

Good to know

Safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, unlike most acne actives — one reason it is often our first choice in those patients. A wash-off product, so it suits skin that finds leave-on acids too harsh.
