What it is and what it is used for

Vitamin E is the body's principal fat-soluble antioxidant, concentrated in cell membranes where it protects them from oxidative damage. It has a particular role in skin, where it helps limit the damage caused by UV exposure, and it works alongside selenium and vitamin C.

Taken to support protection of cells from oxidative stress, normal immune function and skin health.

How to use

One capsule daily with a meal containing some fat — vitamin E is fat-soluble and is poorly absorbed on an empty stomach.

Be aware of

Vitamin E has mild blood-thinning activity at higher doses. If you take an anticoagulant or have surgery planned, speak to us before starting.
