What it is and what it is used for

Vitamin D3 as a low-strength oral solution, providing 1000 IU per 20 ml (50 IU/mL). Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus for normal bone formation and strength, and contributes to normal muscle function and immune function.

How to use

Take the measured dose your prescriber has given you, using the device supplied. This is a low-concentration preparation often used for infants and young children — dose strictly as directed.

Be aware of

Vitamin D is fat soluble and accumulates in the body — do not exceed the prescribed dose or combine with another vitamin D product without checking with your pharmacist. Keep out of reach of children. Speak to your doctor before use if you have kidney stones, kidney disease, sarcoidosis or a high blood calcium level. Vitamin D status is best confirmed with a blood test.
