What it is and what it is used for

Vitamin A supports normal vision, immune function and skin health, and is required for normal growth and development. Deficiency shows up first in night vision and in susceptibility to infection.

How to use

One capsule daily with a meal containing some fat — vitamin A is fat-soluble and poorly absorbed on an empty stomach.

Be aware of

Not for use in pregnancy or if you may become pregnant, without speaking to us first. High-dose vitamin A in pregnancy causes birth defects. It also accumulates in the body rather than being excreted, so do not take it alongside another multivitamin containing vitamin A without checking the total with us.
