What it is and what it is used for

Higher-strength butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid normally produced when gut bacteria ferment fibre. It is the main fuel for the cells lining the colon, and is taken to support gut health and the integrity of the intestinal barrier.

How to use

One capsule daily with food, or as directed by your prescriber.

Be aware of

Contains sodium — speak to your doctor before use if you are on a sodium-restricted diet, or have high blood pressure, heart failure or kidney disease. Not a substitute for treatment of a diagnosed bowel condition. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding without advice.
