What it is and what it is used for

Higher-strength milk thistle (silymarin) in a three-month pack. An antioxidant herbal extract used to support normal liver function; it has also been studied for its antioxidant effect in skin exposed to UV radiation.

How to use

One capsule daily with food, or as directed by your prescriber.

Be aware of

Milk thistle can affect how the liver processes certain medicines, including some for diabetes, cholesterol and blood thinning — tell your doctor or pharmacist what else you take. Avoid if you are allergic to plants in the daisy family. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. It is not a substitute for sun protection.
