What it is and what it is used for

Higher-strength magnesium bound to malic acid, an intermediate in the citric acid cycle. Used to support cellular energy production, muscle comfort and recovery from fatigue. Magnesium also takes part in normal glucose metabolism, nervous system balance and restful sleep.

How to use

One capsule daily, or as directed by your prescriber.

Be aware of

Speak to your doctor before use if you have kidney disease — magnesium can accumulate. Magnesium can reduce the absorption of some antibiotics, bisphosphonates and thyroid medicine; separate the doses by at least two hours. Loose stools are the usual sign the dose is too high. This is a supplement, not a treatment for anxiety or a diagnosed sleep disorder.
