L-theanine is a non-habit-forming amino acid found naturally in green tea. It is associated with calm alertness — easing mental and physical tension without causing drowsiness. 200 mg is the strength most commonly used in research.

How to use

One capsule daily, or as needed during periods of stress, or as directed by your prescriber.

Be aware of

L-theanine may lower blood pressure and can add to the effect of sedative medicines and alcohol. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding without advice. This is a supplement and is not a treatment for an anxiety disorder — persistent anxiety deserves proper support from a doctor.
