What it is and what it is used for

A five-part mitochondrial formulation. L-carnitine carries fatty acids into the mitochondria, CoQ10 and NAD take part in the energy chain itself, magnesium is a cofactor for hundreds of energy-related enzymes, and resveratrol contributes antioxidant support.

How to use

One capsule daily with food, or as directed by your prescriber.

Be aware of

CoQ10 may reduce the effect of warfarin, and resveratrol may increase bleeding risk with blood thinners. Resveratrol has mild oestrogen-like activity — avoid in hormone-sensitive conditions. Magnesium can accumulate in kidney disease and reduces absorption of some antibiotics and thyroid medicine; separate the doses by two hours. Carnitine may cause a fishy body odour. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
