What it is and what it is used for

Curcumin is the active compound in turmeric, taken for its antioxidant activity and its role in supporting a healthy inflammatory response, joint comfort and cardiovascular and cognitive health.

This formulation includes absorption-enhancing agents. That matters more than the milligram figure — curcumin on its own is very poorly absorbed, which is why plain turmeric powder is not equivalent.

How to use

One capsule daily with a meal containing some fat, which improves uptake.

Be aware of

Curcumin can interact with blood-thinning medication and may not suit patients with gallstones or bile duct problems. Please check with us if either applies to you.
