Alpha Lipoic Acid 500 mg Capsules (60 capsules)

What it is and what it is used for

The higher strength of alpha lipoic acid, for patients already established on 250 mg. Works in both the watery and fatty compartments of the cell and helps regenerate other antioxidants once they have been used up.

Taken for antioxidant support, mitochondrial function and healthy glucose metabolism.

How to use

One capsule daily, taken with food, or as directed.

Be aware of

Start on the 250 mg unless we have advised otherwise. If you take medication for diabetes or thyroid disease, speak to us first — alpha lipoic acid can affect blood glucose.
