Alpha lipoic acid is unusual among antioxidants in working in both the watery and the fatty compartments of the cell, and in helping regenerate vitamins C and E once they have been used up. Taken for antioxidant support, mitochondrial function and healthy glucose metabolism. Compounded by Fagron in the strength you choose.

Good to know

If you take medication for diabetes or thyroid disease, speak to us before starting — alpha lipoic acid can lower blood glucose and may mean your dose needs adjusting.
